A friend asked me to do an applique of a flower.I did this over Freezer paper - a project not to be rushed. she sent the backing fabric - all black also a small piece of fabric to put my signature on. I decided rather than use Black ink I would do it in 2 strands of embroidery cotton,black on white in stem stitch.
